Twelve months, twelve drawings — each one made on location somewhere in London, chosen to match the feel of that time of year. I drew these out in parks and on streets with the weather doing whatever it wanted, trying to catch something that actually felt like January, or May, or October in this city. Not a staged shoot. Just me and a sketchbook.

It's the kind of calendar you might actually leave on the wall after the month turns, because the pictures are worth looking at. Good for anyone who loves London, or drawing, or both. Makes a nice gift at Christmas — though it also works if you're just treating yourself.

The details

  • A4 landscape (29.7 × 21cm) — fits a standard frame if you want to display a page
  • Printed on 300gsm silk paper with a matte finish — thick and proper, not flimsy
  • Ring-bound with white wire, hole-punched for easy hanging
  • 12 original sketchbook drawings, all made on location in London

Pairs well with the London Sketchbook Zine if you want more of the same energy.
