Pet portraits
Bespoke hand-painted portraits of pets - dogs, cats, rabbits, the more exotic end of the spectrum too. Painted from a photo you provide, in watercolour, gouache and ink. A popular gift for pet owners and a nice thing to have on the wall.
Building portraits
Houses, wedding venues, favourite pubs, landmarks — anywhere with meaning. These work particularly well as wedding or housewarming gifts, or as a way of marking somewhere that matters.
People portraits
Hand-painted portraits of people, from a photo. Families, children, couples. I've painted a lot of children over the years — it's a natural crossover from the book work, and it shows in the results.
Unique commisions
Something that doesn't fit a category — a scene, an in-joke made visual, a cat in a specific costume. Get in touch and describe what you're after. I've made some fairly niche things over the years and I'm rarely stumped.

Getting your commission is easy.

Get in touch
Take the first step by getting in touch with me, using the form on this page to let me know a bit more about what you're looking for.

Discuss your order
Once I've received your contact form, I'll be in touch to ask for a photo of what you'd like me to paint for you. We'll then discuss any special requirements together and agree a price.

Complete payment
I will send an invoice for your artwork, and as soon as this is paid I will be able to start your commission. This helps me manage any tight turnarounds and busy periods.
04
Artwork creation
I'll create your illustration and share progress images with you before finishing, so you can flag anything you'd like adjusted.
05
You recieve your order
I'll ship your commission with tracked postage, directly to you or to whoever you're sending it to. And that's it.
