I drew this inside Brixton Village on a weekday afternoon, tucked into a corner with my sketchbook, trying to catch the particular energy of the place — the arched roof, the mix of stalls and restaurants, the way light comes in and makes everything feel a bit golden. It's the kind of place where you could sit for hours and always find something new to look at. Which is more or less what I did.
A good one for anyone who lives in or near Brixton, or who used to and misses it. Also a nice housewarming gift for someone who's just moved to SW9 and is working out their local area.
