Beckenham Place Park is one of those South London places that feels slightly secret — the manor house, the swimming lake, the walled gardens, the sense that you've wandered somewhere that hasn't quite caught up with the rest of the city. I drew it as a hand-drawn map, trying to capture the layout and the atmosphere at the same time.
